In this presentation we will discuss coin collecting pennies that were minted between 1920 and 2012 through roll hunting. We discuss the two major groupings of coins that are likely to be valued above their face value and which you may want to retain: bullion valued coins and numismatically interesting coins.

Melting coins for bullion is not legal in Canada, but you can still value the coins this way. The numismatic discussion centers on the major varieties of the small cent series. Consult a guide for current pricing information or for more information on key dates. Minor varieties and error varieties are not discussed in depth.
