This article expands on the ONA Educational Symposium talk from the 2021 Convention. It lays out simple guidelines for banknote collecting to help new enthusiasts avoid common pitfalls. Focusing only on the 8 Bank of Canada series, the knowledge is transferrable to other types of collections.
