This article expands on the ONA Educational Symposium talk from the 2021 Convention. This article dives deeper into the Vertical Banknote series that entered circulation in 2018. The article also examines the symbolism of the $10 Viola Desmond banknote and makes some predictions about the forthcoming $5. Collectors are introduced to the ideas of signature combination varieties, changeover notes, and grade rarity.
